Research into Back Pain

BackCare supports and undertakes a comprehensive programme of research in institutes, hospitals, universities and medical schools throughout Britain.

One of the fundamental aims of BackCare is to encourage and support scientific research into the causes, treatment and prevention of back pain. The objective is to reduce the incidence of, and disability from back pain and to improve understanding of its manifestation and causes.

BackCare is the leading national charity and one of the few independent organisations which encourages pioneering research into back pain Our research portfolio covers all aspects of back pain in order to educate people on how to use their bodies sensibly and thus reduce the incidence of back pain
